Delete your Trybely account
You can delete your Trybely account and the personal data linked to it at any time, from the app or the website. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.
Delete it yourself (fastest)
- Sign in to Trybely in the iPhone or Android app, or at trybely.com.
- Open Settings → Account Settings.
- Scroll to Delete my account and choose Delete my account…
- Type your account email (or the word DELETE), enter your password if your account has one, and confirm.
The deletion happens immediately and you are signed out.
Go to Account SettingsCan’t sign in?
Email support@trybely.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Account deletion request”, or use the support page. We confirm the request with that email address and complete it within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What is deleted
- Your name, email address, phone number, profile photo, address details and profile text.
- Your password and every active sign-in session on all devices.
- Email-verification, password-reset and invitation links.
- Newsletter and marketing-list entries for your email address.
- Stories you posted. Posts and comments you wrote stay in their threads but show “Deleted user” instead of your name.
- Business accounts: the public business listing is removed from the marketplace.
What is cancelled
Any active Trybely subscription or membership billed through Stripe is cancelled at the moment you delete the account, so you are not charged again.
What we keep, and why
Some records must be kept by law for tax, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes: sales and point-of-sale transactions, invoices, payment and payout records, and accounting ledger entries. These are kept for as long as the law requires (typically up to 7 years), but they are no longer linked to your name, email or phone number. Payment-card details are held by our payment processor, Stripe, not by Trybely.
Security and system logs that may contain technical identifiers are deleted on their normal rotation schedule.
Owner, admin and staff accounts
Platform admin accounts and staff sign-ins created by a business (managers, register sign-ins) can’t be deleted from the app. Ask the business owner to remove your access, or contact support.
